K-12 Growth in US
Austin, TX – Territorium announces that Dr. Terry Shrader has joined the company as Vice President of K12 Growth for the U.S. market. Dr. Shrader has worked in K12 education at every level and is thrilled to join Territorium. “Territorium has software to improve student learning in a way that I always wished for in my schools,” Shrader said. As a result, the company plans to accelerate its expansion into the United States.
Leader in Education Technology
A leader in education technology, Territorium has more than 9 million users worldwide with the focus of implementing a CLR (Comprehensive Learner Record) that measures the skills and competencies students are developing while using AI to help students to move from education to work: in his new role, Dr. Shrader will focus on accelerating the company’s growth in the U.S. market. “Students are at the core of who we are,” Territorium CEO Guillermo Elizondo said. “With Dr. Shrader joining our U.S. team, we will be able to help public school districts, charter schools, private schools and all teachers in their mission of helping each student to achieve a brighter future.”
Dr. Shrader joins Territorium after many years of improving schools. Freedom Middle School, where he first served as principal, was in the first 10 Award Schools in Tennessee and the only middle school represented. Shrader then move to Centennial High School and led them to reward status as well. At Hillsboro High School, his staff and he earned designations as an International Baccalaureate Diploma, Middle Years and Career Certificate Schools. In addition, his resume includes serving as the Director and Executive Director of Leadership Development in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools where he led an effort that resulted in receiving a $975,000.00 grant to develop a principal pipeline. Shrader is also the recipient of the Field Award granted by the University of Tennessee to the most influential secondary educator in the state.
Understanding What K-12 Educators Need
“Territorium is a company that understands what K12 educators need to meet the needs of all their students. True equity in education can only be achieved when all students are learning at high levels. Finally, someone has harnessed the power of artificial intelligence (ai) to help educators,” Shrader said. “I fully embrace my new role with Territorium, if this company did not have a contribution to Ed Tech that can change the lives of students and the DNA of schools and school districts, then I would not be joining them. I believe what we have is the next big thing in education, and I will gladly share our products with those who realize there must be a better way of working with students.” Shrader continued, “Anyone looking to improve learning should give me the opportunity to share what we have with them. You will not be sorry. If Territorium had been available, when I was a principal, our students would have learned even more.”
